It’s easy to measure success by the finish line — but real insight comes from tracing the path that got us there. The bold decisions, unexpected turns, and the people who showed up and leaned in. These moments shape more than outcomes; they shape us.
Looking back at the journey of Humanity First, it’s clear: This isn’t a conclusion. It’s the foundation for what comes next.
It’s not a new initiative. It’s the next step in something we’ve believed in all along: Putting people at the center of everything we do. Whether it’s our employees, our customers, or the communities we’re part of, we’re all connected — and that connection is our strength.
At TTEC, Humanity First is about creating an environment where everyone feels seen, respected, and able to thrive. It’s about showing up with empathy. Listening with care. Leading with purpose. And recognizing that while our stories may be different, our hearts beat just the same.
Here’s what Humanity First looks like in action:
Employee-led groups that bring people together
Our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are a perfect example. These aren’t top-down programs — they’re built from the ground up by employees who care deeply and act.
Our newest ERG, TTEC Familia, was created by our Latino and Hispanic team members. In just a short time, they’ve hosted cultural celebrations, career panels, karaoke nights, and conversations that spark joy and build connection across borders.
They join a growing network of ERGs that celebrate identity, create belonging, and build understanding that extends to the diverse customers we serve:
- Champions of Color – celebrating heritage, fostering belonging, and empowering voices of Black and African descent
- MINDS – embracing neurodivergent perspectives and championing diverse ways of thinking
- Persons with Disabilities – advancing accessibility, inclusion, and equity for people of all abilities
- Prism – celebrating LGBTQIA+ pride and strengthening allyship across our communities
- Wisdom Warriors – honoring experience, sharing knowledge, and embracing generational diversity
- Women in Leadership – amplifying women’s voices, ambitions, and impact
These groups aren’t just for those who identify with the communities they represent. They welcome parents, family members, caregivers, and allies — because ERGs are about learning from one another, building bridges, and making a meaningful impact together.
Listening and growing, together
People feel empowered when they know they’re heard. That’s why listening is a cornerstone of Humanity First, not just collecting input but acting on it.
Listening starts with trust. When people feel psychologically safe, they’re more likely to speak up, share ideas, and challenge the status quo. That’s why we’re focused on building that safety into every team and giving our managers the training they need to listen with empathy, respond with care, and lead with openness.
We foster a culture where every voice matters and where speaking up helps shape the way we work. Whether through our Great Place to Work survey, We Hear You platform, or tools in our Culture Toolkit on Mosaic, we’re inviting employees to connect and share what’s working, where we can improve, and how we can grow stronger together.
That spirit of listening also extends to our clients. Through our Customer Advisory Board and client surveys, we gain real-time insights that help us stay ahead of what our customers need most.
Local roots, global reach
In 2025, we’re building on that foundation by launching new global and regional councils that bring inclusion into everyday decisions. From how we work to how we serve, these councils are helping us stay grounded in the things that matter most: Respect, collaboration, and real progress.
We’re also expanding our footprint — including our newest team in Mohali, India, where values like seva (selfless service) naturally align with our shared commitment to community.
The impact is real
When people feel like they belong, they bring their best. They think bigger, care deeper, and build stronger relationships, with one another and with our customers.
As our founder and CEO Ken Tuchman recently said, “It’s easy to doubt a big idea at first. But once you see the results — the impact on people, the spark in their eyes — you realize this is real. And then it spreads.”
That’s what’s happening with Humanity First — 50,000 of us around the world, building something meaningful together.
Because when we lead with heart, there’s no limit to what we can achieve.
