Local Customer Experience Leader TeleTech Awards Financial Grant to Puga Elementary School in Iloilo City
Grant provides new multi-purpose school building for underprivileged students
ILOILO CITY, 23 July 2018 - TeleTech (NASDAQ: TTEC), a leading global customer experience technology and services provider focused exclusively on the design, implementation and delivery of transformative solutions for many of the world’s most iconic and disruptive brands, today announced that a grant from the company’s community foundation (TeleTech Community Foundation) has been awarded to Puga Elementary School in Iloilo City, Philippines. The foundation’s donation to Puga Elementary School was sponsored by a TeleTech planning analyst.
Puga Elementary serves students in greatest need by paying for their tuition and other miscellaneous academic fees. Nearly all the students at Puga Elementary are below the poverty line and cannot afford basic access to education. Puga Elementary School will use the grant from the foundation to resume construction of its multi-purpose building which was put on hold due to lack of funds. The multi-purpose building will serve as the school’s gym and will also be used for monthly programs and events including graduation.
